Did you know that 68% of children who are transgender, nonbinary, or gender nonconforming engage in suicidal ideation before the age of 18. That number drops to 4% when they have at least one supportive family member. This group gathers monthly to provide support for parents and grandparents of transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming children (adult children, too), from an informed, Lutheran perspective. We pray, learn, and share stories together.
