HEAR OUR PRAYER.
1. With reverence for the earth, those in need and the whole human family let us offer our prayers to God.
A brief silence.
2. Revive your people to rejoice in your mercies that are new every morning of their life.

3. May the prayers of our leaders and all our citizens be the prayers of the Psalmist, that God’s rule would be from sea to sea, and that as a nation we would deliver the needy when they call, and the poor who have no
4. 12helper.

4. Deepen the genuine love of all communities of faith and send their members forth filled with generosity and with peace. We pray at this time for our neighboring religious communities, for our partner Anglican Church of Canada and for our sister congregations in the BC Synod: in particular we pray for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Coquitlam and their pastor, Eric Krushel; for King of life Lutheran church in Coquitlam and their pastor, Kathy Martin; and for our seminaries in Saskatoon and Waterloo—their faculties, their students and their custodians. May all members of all faith communities be open to opportunities to serve.

5. Restore to health all those living with disease, chronic illness, loss, and the young and old who know a broken heart. We pray especially for those we name aloud or quietly in our heart at this time…
Grant new life to all who are suffering, anxious or whose faith is faltering.

6. Lord, we thank you for those who are celebrating graduations, marriages and other special events during this season.
– we thank you for those who have the gift of another birthday or another anniversary, and for those who have known the gift of new life:
– And we thank you for your Word of healing and of comfort, and for opportunities to share a word of comfort;
– Finally we thank you for those special blessings we name aloud at this time….
Lord, continue to help us experience your presence in times of pain and in times of unexpected joy.

7. Renew your creation, especially endangered species–and land, air or water polluted by human neglect and our waste.
