With the prayer “Spirit of God” you are invited to respond…
HEAR OUR PRAYER.

1. Called by the Holy Spirit into a relationship with a loving God, we pray for the church, all in need and the whole creation.

A brief moment of silence and reflection

2. Continue to pour your steadfast love upon this community of faith, our neighboring faith communities and our partner Anglican Church of Canada as together we seek to serve you in whatever way we are called. We pray in particular for Hills of Peace Lutheran Church in Kamloops and their pastor, Brian Krushel; and we pray for all our missionaries serving in other lands: for Brian Rude, Fran Schmidt, Lori Endress, Yoli Zavaleta, Sergio Utz and Gustavo Gomez. May all your baptized throughout the world point through their acts and through their words to Christ their Lord and Savior
Spirit of God:
HEAR OUR PRAYER.

3. Your Spirit has given special gifts to each one of us, O God. Help us to recognize our gifts and to recognize the gifts of others. Motivate us to use our gifts to care for others in need. We pray particularly for those who we name aloud or quietly in our heart at this time …

In this coming week, guide and encourage us in our individual ministries.

4. God, the giver of all good gifts, we thank you for all your special blessings:
– we thank you for those who have the gift of another birthday or another anniversary;
– We thank you for the gifts of food and drink which nourish our bodies and our souls;
– And we thank you for those special blessings we name aloud at this time….

In this coming week, may we continue to experience your presence in blessing and guiding us.

5. You lavish care on all people, O God. Help leaders and all your people to share that care with others.

6. You love your creation, O God. Grow our sense of joy and responsibility for animals entrusted to our care.

7. Sustain us in the gift of baptism until we gather with all your people from every time and place to share new wine around one table.

8. In your loving hand, gracious God, we place ourselves and all our prayers, spoken and unspoken, trusting in your love through Jesus Christ, our Savior. AMEN
