HEAR OUR PRAYER.

1. Called by the Holy Spirit into a relationship with a loving God, we pray for the church, all in need and the whole creation.

A brief moment of silence and reflection

2. Loving God, your love for us is our strength. Bless all teachers and preachers in every church who help proclaim your good news to young and old alike.
Spirit of God:
HEAR OUR PRAYER.

3. Generous God, you pour out your gifts on each individual. Inspire the members of each community of faith to recognize their particular gifts, and to use them for the benefit of their church, their community and their family. We pray your blessing on the gift to us of our partner Anglican Church of Canada. And we pray in particular for Faith Lutheran Church in Kelowna and their interim pastor, James Buenting; and for Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in North Vancouver and their interim pastor, Bishop Gerhard Preibisch. May all your servants know strength and joy in their ministry.

HEAR OUR PRAYER.

4. God, our Shepherd, your law is perfect. Guide leaders and the people of all nations to follow your way of caring for their neighbor.

5. God the healer of all, bring comfort to the fearful and grieving, friendship to the forgotten, and wholeness to those who are ill or in pain. We pray especially for those we name aloud or quietly in our heart at this time…

Help us always to be open to your call to care for one another

6. God, the giver of all good gifts, we thank you for all your special blessings:
– we thank you for those who have the gift of another birthday or another anniversary;
– We thank you for the gift of your commandments and the gift of your eternal promises;
– We thank you for those special blessings we name aloud at this time….

7. God, our Redeemer, the heavens tell your glory. Help us to treat the air and the skies in ways that honor you and your creation.

8. Holy Spirit, sustain us with your presence until we gather at the feast of the Lamb with all your saints from every time and place, with the special women of the New Testament–with Lydia, Dorcas, and Phoebe, and with those whose memories remain special to us.

9. Into your loving hand, gracious God, we place ourselves and all our prayers, spoken and
unspoken, trusting in your love through Jesus Christ, our Savior. AMEN
