With the prayer “Hear us, O God” you are invited to respond…
YOUR MERCY IS GREAT.

1. Rejoicing with all the witnesses of the resurrection past and present, let us pray in confidence for the church, the world and all who are in need.

A brief moment of silence and reflection

2. Send your Spirit to remind us daily of the ways of your love. Shape the church by your Word and empower us to proclaim your grace within the church and in our neighbourhood.
Hear us, O God:
YOUR MERCY IS GREAT.

3. Inspire the community with enthusiasm for the gift of their rebirth in baptism. Enliven this congregation by stories of conversion and transformation in the lives of people. We pray also at this time for our partner Anglican Church of Canada and for the congregations in the BC Synod: in particular we pray for Peace Lutheran Church in Vancouver and their pastor Richard Schulz; and for St. Peter’s Estonian Lutheran Church in Vancouver and for those who provide pastoral ministry in that congregation. We thank you for all your servants who live lives of love and hope.
Hear us, O God:
YOUR MERCY IS GREAT.

4. Guide judges, magistrates and juries to deliver with equity and fairness. Be the hope and inspiration of all who are imprisoned or detained.
Hear us, O God:
YOUR MERCY IS GREAT.

5. Relieve the fears and troubles of those who suffer. Grant shelter to the homeless, assistance to those in any need, and healing to the sick. We pray especially for those we name aloud or quietly in our heart at this time…

In this coming week, we pray that you would direct and sustain us in our daily ministry.
Hear us, O God:
YOUR MERCY IS GREAT.

6. God, the giver of all good things
– we thank you those who have the gift of another birthday, another anniversary, or the gift of rebirth;
– We thank you for your daily reminder to us to reach out to our neighbour
– We thank you for bringing and sustaining us in our faith;
– Finally, we thank you for those special blessings we name at this time….
Hear us, O God:
YOUR MERCY IS GREAT.

7. Reveal to us the splendour of creation and inspire gratitude in our hearts for the care of the earth. Show us your ways of true abundance for the sake of tour world.
Hear us, O God:
YOUR MERCY IS GREAT.

8. Shelter us in the shade of the tree of life. Strengthen our faith with the witness of all the saints and join our voices together with them in songs of praise that will never end.
Hear us, O God:
YOUR MERCY IS GREAT.

9. In resurrection hope we commend to you all for whom we pray trusting in the promise of new life; thr
