With the words, Remember us, O God of home and holiness, you are invited to respond Hear our prayer.
As people united in our baptism of grace, we pray for our church, for those in need, and for all of creation.
a brief silence
Ground of all being on earth and beyond, you call us to love and care for this earth we call home. Enable us to nurture our connection with other believers, especially with our partner Anglican Church of Canada, Bishop Logan, Bishop Greg and the congregations of our synod. We pray especially today for Shepherd of the Valley in Comox and our seminaries in Saskatoon and Waterloo.
Remember us, O God of home and holiness
Hear our prayer.
Teach us stillness as the old growth forests resonate with holy silence. Teach us suffering as part of the human condition we share. Educate us in the humility that opens our hearts to full humanity. Give us caring as that of a mother nurturing her young.
Remember us, O God of home and holiness
Hear our prayer.
Restore the vitality of lands and waters suffering from human misuse or natural disaster. Join people here and everywhere in caring for our earthly home with tenderness and tenacity. Make our hearts leap with joy as we revel in summer sun.

Hear our prayer.
Bless our province, our nation, and our world as leaders create laws and structures that will protect and enhance the lives of your people. Bless humanitarian organizations, especially our own Canadian Lutheran World Relief, as we seek to bring more well-being to your children around the globe.

Hear our prayer.
Use us to be your word, your loving hand, to those who are ill, injured, or dealing with difficult personal matters. We pray especially for those we name aloud or in the depths of our being. Bless those who have requested your care and strength (name those on the prayer list)

Hear our prayer.
Bless fathers and all those who play a fatherly role in the lives of others. Give them strength and sensitivity, and the confidence to be vulnerable in a world that often asks them to deny their weakness and have confidence in all things.

Hear our prayer.
Bless this congregation as we together discover what it means to be your people in this place. Inspire us to see the aging of our churches as an opportunity to draw closer to you in seeking our mission and touching lives. Let our life together be a constant prayer.

You are Creator, Word of wisdom, and wandering spirit. In the name the mysterious Trinity, we pray.
