Connection, Communication, Conversation – Resourcing: Ash Wednesday / Lent / Holy Week / Easter
Over the next two weeks we are creating a space via Zoom to have some conversations about the upcoming time in the church year that includes Ash Wednesday, Lent, Holy Week, and Easter. What are you thinking about for this year? What do you sense God might be inviting you to explore given our context with the uncertainty of the pandemic in mind? Do you have some creative ideas for worship or other ministry with the congregation during this season, perhaps building on what you have been learning the past 10 months? Are there things you would like to try but perhaps need a little help or support? How and on what might our synod or regions collaborate? Can we agree on what might be helpful and begin to make plans?
If this conversation sounds like it might be of interest to you, please join us on January 19th. These gatherings are for all in our synod who may be interested, whether you serve in a leadership role or not. We will spend time in small groups, share ideas, brainstorm, consider a few creative resources and create a team or two of those with an interest in collaborating. Please register to receive the Zoom link. This helps keep our meeting safe and ensures everyone is able to participate. Rev. Kathleen (Kathy) Martin
