BC Synod Convention - Day 2

Some highlights from day 2: 

• Celly Manirakoze, Ben Lukenchuk, and Rachael Manyoun shared their stories from the Lutheran World Federation 13th Assembly, held in Krakow, Poland, last September 
• Pr. Erik Bjorgan invited us to ponder the future of the church, the opportunities and challenges ahead 
• We elected four synod council members at-large 
• We elected 20 delegates for the 2025 ELCIC National Convention. Eight of them are under 30. 
• We passed the budget for 2024-25 and 2025-26
• We heard from CLWR and LTS, and learned more about ELCIC's new logo and tagline 
• We celebrated, and danced! We made friends, had deep conversations, and enjoyed our time together. 
• Kazoo choirs are still the best!
