New Assistant to the Bishop for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion - Rev. Aneeta Saroop

On Sunday morning at our BC Synod Convention I was delighted to announce the 3-year appointment of Rev. Aneeta Saroop as the Assistant to the Bishop (A2B) for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. 

Rev. Saroop provided leadership to the ELCIC's National Task Force Addressing Racism, White Supremacy, and Issues of Racial Justice from 2019 to 2022. She will serve as an A2B part-time in addition to her full-time call at Spirit of Life Lutheran in Vancouver. 

We are extremely grateful for the congregation’s support of Pastor Aneeta and this new work she will engage with all of us across the BC Synod. Contact new email address and contact details for her A2B position will be announced as soon as her start date is finalized.
