The ELCIC has been working with 1517 Media following the closing of Parasource, the Canadian distributor of Augsburg Fortress materials. Canadian churches wishing to order print items that they would have ordered from Parasource are now able to contact 1517 Media who will shift to a "direct sales model" for Canada. As part of this introduction, all Canadian church customers will receive an introductory discount of 20% off the retail price). The ELCIC National Office is still working to find Canadian distributors for non-print worship items such as candles, communion cups and wafers. While these are also available from 1517 Media, they have advised us that shipping costs will likely be quite high. We hope to be able to share a list of Canadian resources in the very near future.
