The BC Synod “Climate Justice Action Group” invites all congregations to celebrate the global and ecumenical initiative “Season of Creation” this Fall. The theme, “Let Justice and Peace Flow,” calls us all to join the river of climate and ecological justice, and to speak out with and for communities most impacted by climate injustice and biodiversity loss.
As the people of God, we must work together on behalf of all creation, as part of that mighty river of peace and justice. Season of Creation starts September 1st, the World Day of Prayer for Creation, and ends October 4th, the day of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
