BC Synod Climate Justice Action Group invites you to celebrate the world's oceans.

World Ocean Day provides an opportunity to honor, help protect, and conserve the ocean.  Recently, world leaders made a commitment to protect 30% of our blue planet by 2023.  It’s time to celebrate and to keep the momentum going.
Canada will be featuring events being held across our country from June 2nd to June 11th to help raise public awareness of our connection to coastal areas, the ocean, and the watersheds in Canada.  The link for more information is: oceanweekcan.ca.

“And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.”  So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems according to their kind and every winged bird according to its kind.  And God saw that it was good.”  Genesis 1:20 - 21
