A Luther Lecture titled "Turning Ourselves Inside Out for Each Other - Why Intercultural Ministry Matters" is scheduled for September 29 at 7:30 p.m. at Luther Auditorium, Luther College. The speaker for this Luther Lecture is The Very Rev. Dr. Carmen Lansdowne, the former first female Indigenous Moderator of the United Church of Canada, and Assistant Professor of United Church Studies at Emmanuel College. The lecture will explore how the church can embrace diversity and justice in today's world. It will look at what it means to "turn ourselves inside out" through intercultural ministry, drawing on Christian faith to build communities of openness and care.
